In order to protect our students and volunteers, E CITY requires background checks for specific volunteer roles.

Description:

Each student prepares a basic business plan during the E CITY program.  About 6-7 students will qualify to present their plan to a panel of highly respected and prominent individuals.  (YES>>>We’re talking about YOU!!).  You and several other volunteers will rate each student’s business plan and presentation using the standard judging criteria form that we provide.  You will select three award winners.  First place receives $150, second place $100 and third place $50.  All training for this prestigious opportunity will be provided that evening.  Prior to the competition we will also provide you with a copy of the business plan template the students are using to give you a better idea of what to expect from the presentations.

Time Commitment:

About 3 hours, during one evening.  Competitions are typically on week nights, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
