In our E CITY program, we teach teens and young adults how to start and operate their own businesses. Our Certified Entrepreneurship Teachers use one of the top entrepreneurship curriculums worldwide. They have passion for entrepreneurship education and are committed to giving young people the tools they need to become financially independent. Our students participate in creative hands-on activities, meet and hear from successful business owners from across the city, take fieldtrips to local business, receive seed money to start a small business, and develop a business plan with the help of business volunteers from the Cleveland community.
Once students graduate from the E CITY program they are eligible to participate in our alumni program. We offer monthly events and workshops to enhance what students learn in our 70-hour basic entrepreneurship programs and to continue connecting them to successful business owners and resources.
E CITY graduates are also eligible to apply for the NFTE’s Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards where 20-30 students are selected each year from all over the world. These students receive an all expense paid trip to New York City and receive up to $1,500 for their business or college. FIVE E CITY alumni have won this award!!
