In 2000, John made a commitment to
partner with
NFTE, The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship and
bring its award-winning entrepreneurship curriculum to teens in
Cleveland. His dream was to teach them that they could do what he
had done. He founded E CITY: Entrepreneurship- connecting,
inspiring and teaching youth, with the following mission:
to
teach entrepreneurship to low-income
young people in the Cleveland
area by improving their academic, business,
technology and life
skills so that they
can become economically productive
members of
society and break the
cycle of poverty in their communities. |
